We are sailing around the world on NAGA, our race-winning, high-performance 38' trimaran designed by Dick Newick, America's greatest multihull architect. Sail with us, traveling the world via our website. Share the places and people and experiences, the thrills and dangers, the noise of storms and the vast peace at sea, share the lessons and resources we've discovered in two lifetimes of traveling on the sea.

Our sailing adventures in photos and textEvery kind of helpful resource for sailors and travelersWeather for sailorsMaking a living onboard or on the roadLinks to friends and related sites

This site began as a place to simply share our adventures with friends and family. But we evolved it into more than that: into a resource for sailors, travelers, dreamers, a place to provide resources to help friends around the world to actualize their dreams and discover new realities.
Now we shall see where this site will go - see below.

Jack
aboard trimaran NAGA - currently in Phuket, Thailand

NEWS:
Chrissi left Naga and her skipper on 17 April 2013. She now has a good canvas and sail business back in St. Croix, USVI. So, a lot has changed aboard Naga.

It remains to be seen how the "Saga of Naga" will develop now. Naga is once again a pretty happy place thanks to a wonderful Thai lady, but life aboard is - what can we say? - "in flux." Potential new crew members are invited to contact Jack to see what might be arranged. A personal introductory note and some photos should be included. See Jack's email address at the bottom of the page.

Site NEWS and OUR NEWS:

The site remains woefully out-of-date, missing a lot since we arrived in Singapore in late '06!!
Sorry about that, I guess life is just too rich. There are, however, new entries - mostly videos!
We'll see what changes may or may not be in store for us and the site.

2009: We do our 1st SE Asia bicycle trip for 2 months in Malaysia, Thailand, Laos, and Cambodia.
2010: In April we returned from a 3 month long 2nd BICYLE tour of SE Asia, this one including Viet Nam!
See some VIDEOS or our bicyle tiips HERE.

2011: Sailing northern Borneo and the South China Sea.

2012: We return to our old haunts of NW Malaysia and Thailand, with
uncertain plans to sail onward to Africa and South America/Caribbean
.

2013 - February-March:
We had a good 3 week bicycle tour along the Mekong River in NE Thailand's Isaan region in March,
riding from Nong Kai to Muktahan and across the south including Surin and other areas
.

2013 - April 17:
Chrissi is "unhappy," so she and Jack decide to go their separate ways.
Chrissi leaves and returns eventually to the USVI where she re-invents her canvas and sail business.

Naga and Jack remain in SE Asia, mostly in Thailand, with uncertain plans and preparations to move on.
What will the latest current iteration of the Saga of Naga bring?
